Gwenpool issue #1: the unexpected isekai!
Gwendolyn Poole was your average girl, well average was an overstatement. According to her parents she was below that. After all she was a high school dropout with 'no future prospects' who had a comic obsession. She couldn't help herself right? I mean despite being fictional the marvel characters just made her feel seen.
As she walked suddenly she heard a load thud and fell down onto the pavement, once she woke up on the pavement something didn't quite sit right.... the colours weren't muted, they were brighter almost unnaturally so.... The people also seemed weirdly friendly unlike most real world people, but one thing she knew for sure. This isn't the street I fell unconscious on.
"Uhm, hello? Can anyone help me? Maybe tell me where I am memory is a bit fuzzy....." she looked around for anyone she'd recognise from her neighbourhood but no-one came not even her brother Teddy..... Maybe he'd grown tired of her? but he wouldn't leave her alone surely
