WIP's

The first WIP I have finished the body of the mermaid snuggle blanket for one of my nieces now I just need to do the fin. I'm thinking of doing the fin from the KB blog mermaid blanket, I decided against doing the hourglass pattern they have for the body as firstly that was loom knitted as a flat panel not in the round and secondly the pattern would be lost with the variegated yarn I used.

The second WIP is going to be the back for a cardigan for my daughter. The yarn is faux fur (cookie colour) from AliExpress. I'm doing it on the Regular Flexee loom although I think it might knit up better on the Chunky gauge but as I don't have that and not sure if I'd actually use that loom set so I'm hesitant to buy it. I'm not really following a pattern for this, I've looked at lots of different ones and just going with the flow.

This one I want to finish first as I want to make Scarlett Royale's (The Loom Muse) Sweater Poncho for my aunt for her Christmas present and need the Regular gauge for the yarn I want to use (plus its what she uses in the video and the free written pattern).

My mums blanket and my aunts summer infinity scarf/cowl

My mums blanket I finished a little while ago, it was made with 3 x 300g skeins from acrylic yarn I got from B&M about 6/7years ago when I started loom knitting. It should be perfect for her sofa and it's better than I thought it would be (the yarn was about £4 per skein) after being washed, now I just need to give it to her!

My aunts infinity scarf is made from Hemp silk yarn with tiny sequins (lace weight) that I got from AliExpress early this year after I got the Bitty Flexee loom for my birthday in February and I'm also really happy with how it turned out after being washed (inside a pillow case on a delicate 30°C wash and laid flat to dry). I hope she likes it when I actually get to the post office to send it to her.
