DAT in 2 days and I got a few questions

My DAT is in two days and I’m definitely starting to stress lol. My sciences are pretty strong and I’m doing decent in the other sections too, but RC is probably my weakest right now.

Sometimes I struggle with timing, especially with QR and RC, and I’m a little worried about that on the actual test.
For anyone who took the DAT recently, how close was Booster to the real thing, especially for RC and QR? Also, any last minute tips for timing and staying calm during the test would be really helpful

Also got two random test day questions:

  1. What happens if you need to use the restroom during the test?
  2. What happens if you show up late?
  3. How early do you have to get to the testing site?

DAT in a week 😭

I’m testing in a week and honestly starting to stress. I’m not really sure how to use these last few days without overwhelming myself. What should I be focusing on right now?

400 to 450+ RC in 2 weeks.. possible?

My RC has been stuck around 400, and I have about 2 weeks left before my DAT. Has anyone made that jump to 450+ in that amount of time? What helped you improve the most?

Best way to use the last 3 weeks?

I have about 3 weeks left until my DAT. RC is definitely my weakest section, so I'm trying to spend more time on that. For everything else though, I'm not really sure what I should be doing. Should I just keep doing practice tests, question banks, review notes, or something else?
What did you guys do during your last 3 weeks that helped you the most and led to your best score?

Should I switch up my RC strategy?

I have about a month left until my DAT, and my RC score has been pretty much the same on every practice test. Should I just stick with the strategy I've been using and keep practicing, or is it worth trying a new strategy this close to the exam? What worked for you guys?

RC won't improve 😭

Every other section is getting better, but my RC score just won't budge. It's honestly getting so frustrating. Anyone else go through this? Please give me any advice that worked for you to improve RC.

Feeling Burnt Out

Anyone else feel guilty taking a day off? I've been studying every day and I'm starting to feel burned out. Part of me wants to take a break, but then I feel like I'm falling behind. Do you guys actually take a full day off, or do you just make it a light review day? What worked better for you?

How low yield was Bio?

For anyone who tested recently, how low yield was your Bio section? Was it mostly the usual high yield stuff, or were there a lot of random questions? If you remember any of the low yield topics that showed up, let me know. Just trying to see what everyone's been getting lately.

Scores keep dropping

Not sure what's going on, but my last few practice test scores have just been getting lower. I feel like I'm studying a lot and reviewing my mistakes, but somehow my scores keep going down. Has this happened to anyone else? What did you do to get your scores more consistent and start improving?

Anyone score way different than their practice tests?

I'm interested to hear from people who recently took the DAT. What range were you usually scoring in before test day, and what did you end up getting on the real exam? Did it line up with what you were expecting, or did the actual DAT throw you a surprise?

Diversity of Life on the DAT?

For those who already took the DAT, how important was Diversity of Life? There's just so much information to remember for this section. Did you guys actually memorize all of it, or mostly stick to the high yield stuff? What helped you remember everything?

QR on the actual DAT

For anyone who recently took the DAT, how did the real QR compare to Booster or Bootcamp? Was it easier or harder, and were there any question types that showed up more than you expected?

How often did you guys do Anki?

I try to keep up with Anki regularly, but it takes me so long to get through my reviews that I feel like I don't have enough time left for my other sections. How did you guys fit Anki into your schedule without falling behind on everything else?

RC holding me back

Anyone else feel like RC is the one section that just won't improve? I feel like I'm making progress everywhere else, but my RC score keeps staying around the same range no matter how much I practice. What ended up helping you guys improve?

Bootcamp RC?

For those who used bootcamp and took the DAT recently, how did RC compare to the real thing? Were the passages and questions pretty similar, or did the actual DAT feel easier or harder?

Bio without anki?

Did anyone score well in bio without really using anki? I'm using bio bits and cheat sheets for review and trying to use anki and quizlet here and there, but they take me forever to get through. Is it okay if I just stick with bio bits and the cheat sheets, or do you think I'm missing out by not using anki/quizlet more?
