Hey, everyone. So a friend of mine who works for a recruiting company has seen a lot of demand for AML roles and he recommended I get a certification to get me started. How feasible is it, though? For someone without a degree.

I'm considering the ICA certificate. Would that be enough to potentially get me started in a junior role somewhere? Then maybe I can get credits and do the ACAMS one and progress from there?

I've looked at some job offer sites, and while I've seen some offers that don't require higher education, I see a lot of them that do. Did any of you get started in AML without a degree?

Thanks in advance.
