Formula 1 Spa
Hi everyone,
I just bought two tickets for the 2027 Belgian Grand Prix in the Gold 1 Pit Grandstand. It’s going to be my very first Formula 1 race, so I’m incredibly excited.
Before buying, I was choosing between Gold 1 and Orange. I ended up picking Gold 1 because I wanted to experience the starting grid, race start, pit lane, finish, and podium ceremony.
However, I’m now second-guessing my decision because I also love seeing the cars at very high speed and hearing them at full throttle. Some people seem to recommend Orange instead, and there aren’t many videos from Gold 1 online.
Was Gold 1 a good choice for a first F1 race, or do you think Orange would have been the better option?
I’d really appreciate hearing from people who have actually sat in Gold 1 (or have experienced both grandstands). Thanks a lot!
