Hi. It’s really a rhetorical question and I’m probably just in a mood but I’ve been small loc’d / micro loc’d for 4 months now. I have hecka hair that grows outside of the loc and it’s only at the top of my head. I’m just tryna figure out if I should keep doing loc maintenance on it or just say bye? 😭 this is my 3rd set in my life and also the longest set ive had.

I usually comb them out around month 3, right when growth kicks in lol smh.

But I really want these ones to work out. I’m also a hairstylist who has done many different things with my hair so it could be a case of FOMO too. Someone just encourage me that it will pan out even if my hair likes to grow outside the loc 🫠?
