Amex platinum hotel collection credit : discrepancy
Hi there
On aug 9th, I booked a hotel@ last vegas that was in hotel collection $762.62. I got the 300$ credit posted.
Later as prices dropped on Aug 27th I canceled it and rebooked same one for 84$ less : charge $678.46. My original charge was reverted on Aug 28th.
On Aug 29th I see amex hotel collection charge of 130.40$.
My plans changed so cancelled the new booking and credit of 678.46$ was posted on aug 29th.
When I see rewards summary for 600$ credit it says earned 469$ (169$ earned and $131 to go)
I got a free 169$ benefit without staying. Anyone seen such glitches in billing
