I was Judged away my entire setup and made a full recovery in the end.

I then crapped myself when my first Charizard took 290 damage. Luckily I had energy to retreat, which I threw Tatsu in to get me some more cards. Tatsu was knocked out but by then had everything to relaunch my 2nd Charizard.

Crapped myself again when I was counting all the energies being loaded, x50 for each with Mega Gard attack, and it hit me for 350 damage. 😂

Limped away with 10, used Firebreather to finish off Gard and the next card.

Meowth Last Ditch Catch (when I used it correctly) and Fez Flip the Script were massive life savers!

I've lost out twice nice early game where Last Ditch Catch could have allowed me to pull a critical card. Turns out during my first turn I was benching Meowth as part of my setup, and not actual turn, which disables Last Ditch for the rest of the game unless your able to put it back in your hand 🤦

Trying out something very different. New to building decks with the more modern cards. Any times on how to get the basics and not make obvious and stupid builds?
