Question about scaling plans
Hello Everyone,
New to woodwork here. I plan on making a wooden folding table for the garden. I've found a plan online but it's for quite a short table. I'm doubling the measurements as I want a larger table however I was worried that the folding parts/system would not work properly due to the scaling? Would scaling up the wood lengths, widths and depths effect how the table folds? Do I have to apply some scaling to certain pieces? I don't think I can post the link to the YouTube video but if you want to see what I'm on about search 'How To Make A Folding Table' by Carl Jacobson.
Thank you!
