In my last post, I sought help specifically with color-matching 2 bags. I ended up dyeing only the shoulder bag and continuing to work on the tote bag using black rock.

After doing both, I've become very happy with the results and wanted to share them with the community for their finished look! :))

DISCLAIMER: The first 3 photos are from before any cleaning or restoration was done! The 6 photos after are recent pictures after deep cleaning

Currently in the process of restoring this coach bag, whoever owned this bag used paint, not dye, but straight up paint. After deglazing and washing, the marks started to come through a lot more!

It seems to have some water damage or mold. The darker parts of the bag are almost sunken in, as if the top surface of the leather has been destroyed (almost deteriorated)

I've done deglazing and a soak bath; the soak bath actually helped so much more and was a good idea in my opinion.
Now I'd like to redye this bag after it's dried and conditioned. However, is there anything I can do about the dark spots? Or repair the leather surface?

I have a couple of bags I've been restoring, and so far they look great in my opinion! (comparatively from before)
However, for my final touches, I would love to re-dye them, but I cannot choose which colors would work best!

For the first 2 pictures: I considered some teal or turquoise, but I'm afraid it'll either be too blue or teal! What would anyone recommend?

For the last 2 pictures: I thought navy/blue jean but am afraid they're going to be too dark to light? Any recommendations?

Also! I am a beginner restorer, so if anyone has any tips on the 2 bags before I dye them, lemme know!
