Finally!
Finally got a legal red grouper on the jig
The tropical depression that hit south Florida a few weeks back seems to have pushed them west we’ve caught them the last 2 trips off the coast of Alabama and this is the first one I got on the jig

New rod recommendation
Shark snapped my grappler this weekend and I’m looking for an upgrade. I liked the grappler but I think I want something with slightly more backbone. Been looking at the JJ pro jigger, hearty rise Tokayo III or the palmarius p+ preferably in a 200g to 400g range under $450

New toy
Haven’t fished it yet but overall it seems to be really well built. Handle is incredible, feels lighter than the ocea jigger 2000 and the ld2500. The drag is way better than the shimanos however shimano has it beat on smoothness
