Today head of Iranian football federation Alireza Taj ( same one who was denied entry to Canada and sent back from the airport) said in an interview that they will be meeting with Infantino in the next week either in Zurich or Ankara or Istanbul to “negotiate”.
One of Irans condition is no other flags allowed which fifa has always agreed too( in Russia and Qatar they wouldn’t allow other Iranian flags but the regime one at all)———— other requests are cancelling fingerprinting Iranian team and their technical staff by USA customs (which I highly doubt will be a accepted) ——— the even more unlikely condition is for IRAN Air the national airline to get permission to fly directly to LA which again highly doubt it will be allowed by the states.———-Take what you want from that on whether you think they will be there or not. I don’t believe america will agree to these terms

I know most of this thread has been just whining about prices and scalpers and this is the worst worldcup and blah blah ….. ,,, but I’m curious as to what people’s plans are and what matches / cities they’re going to,,,, I will start by watching team Canada take on Bosnia here at home then I’ve got France vs Iraq in Philly and next day England Ghana in Boston then back home to watch from Toronto fan fest untill I go to Atlanta for my semi final ticket , I’m personally super excited and curious what other people have planned are you staying in one city following a team?
