Daban 1/100 "MG" Jagd Doga
This is a custom version of the RE1/100 Jagd Doga by Daban. I thought to share some thoughts down since I haven't seen this much on here.
- Overall, a good experience and final product looks amazing. I did some painting of minor details, decals, and topcoat.
- The Jagd Doga is a tall model compared to regular MGs.
- There were only some small thrusters under the feet which were not formed properly, and this is not all that Minimal flashing. Only two pegs needed sanding. Otherwise good quality plastics.
- In terms of articulation, the bulky armor means that articulation is limited. Also, the inner frame, which I saw that was from the MG Geara Doga, is undersized and I doubt it can support the weight of the very heavy legs if not in a standing position.
- Other than the inner frame, Daban added many features, such as exploding armor on the legs, panel lines, swappable pieces for Sleeves version plus one other version, etc. There were many parts and the box is almost as big as MG Sazabi Ver Ka
