Use of Glass-coated Polypropylene microplates in a TECAN (Spark) for bacterial culture monitoring (autoclaving & optical performance)?
Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever used Glass-coated Polypropylene microplates in a TECAN (Spark) to perform fluorescence or OD measurements for monitoring bacterial cultures wall-less bacterium that aren't particularly friendly to plastic?
Do you know if these plates can be autoclaved multiple times without cracks? I think at this chemical cleaning otherwise if autoclaving is a no-go:
SDS 5% - 5x Rinsing – Soaking Ethanol 70% – Drying (without UV)
Has anyone tried a similar recycling workflow with for example SureSTART WebSeal Plate+ or equivalent glass-coated plates with U-bottom?
Thank you very much ! 😄
