Need to interview Office Manager/Insurance Coordinator for Dental Practices

Hi, redditors in codingandbilling sub

i've been curious of why insurance verification has been so hard and me as a patient kept getting surprise denial and live in a blackbox of payment when i want non-routine procedures done, given there are insurance verification software everywhere.

I am doing some research and hope to get down to the bottom of this and maybe build something that make the process easier. And i need your expertise and stories to help me.

If you

- have been dealing with insurance claims in a active U.S. dental practices

- seen things don't work with existing solutions

- dealt with customer complains directly related to insurance claims/eligibility

I would really appreciate if i can give you a quick 15 minutes interview and hear the active pains or just day to day work, in return of your help, i can offer a 15$ egift card of a place you like ( in U.S.)

thanks a lot!

Little Pixel Art Animation LOFI

model: Optus 5.5, X-High

Story: Girl finally found the boy, who sits at the roof with his Shiba dog ( past away 1 year ago) - that's where they always hang out. Dog warms the surrounding, including the boy, in contrast with the dark/cold blue light from the megacity of Tokyo.

But, In the morning, the dog leaves.

Feature: day/night, character movable(but not quite polished), audio mixer(train moves, wind blowing, etc)

What Doesn Work Very Well: Slow and not good at drawing humans

What's Interesting: compare this to the old way of generating pixel art animation, sprite sheet, is reference image -> difussion video generation -> down sample.

Here is the link: https://claude.ai/artifact/HTqHAg8ovaDwcFNTKvvA2k

double click for full screen, press 'h' to bring up the HUD.

How does Model Routing/wholesaling Company work?

There are bunch of startups selling unified API for different model use, and offer at very big discount compared to 1st party pricing. for example 70% off seeddance 2.5, 50% off grok image to video etc etc

How is it possible to get that big of discount for that many models? You can't really optimize cost effectiveness for inference for all different models and keep up with the update, can you?

it sounds too good to be true and unfair. what's the non-obvious cons?

▲ 11 r/VPS

I moved my whole AI Agent stack to VPS, now what do i miss?

for the sake of time to market, i built a AI Agent that uses langgraph cloud, vercel, cockpitkit, and supabase, some other service to run long running workflows, they cost >300$/months. Now i moved my entire stack to VPS for 8$/month, i manually configured on hetnzer after realizing how cheap it is.

Now something doesn't really click, given price dropped this much, i must have missed something valuable?

what i have done:

- i did stress test, 120 concurrent chat, no problem.

- latency supposed to be higher because my VM is hosted in europe where i am in U.S., but there is no noticable drop because AI model time to first token is the bottleneck

what might have missed:

- storage backup

- observability

- fail-overs

- auto-scaling?

- security? i am not sure here

I do wish to make this setup to be more prod grade, which area should i invest more on my VPS that has high ROI?
