Need suggestions for a gaming laptop

So my computer might be on its way out and I am trying to ballpark price a new rig.

I have EXTENSIVE experience with building. So I don't really need any help in that regard. But I am looking more for prebuilts or laptops simply because I have three kids and just don't have the time nor energy to do a full custom build. So, either prebuilt desktops or a laptop is what I am in the market for. I have not had my ear to the ground as far as the current PC market. So I have no idea where manufacturers stand with performance, quality, and price comparisons.

I have attached the required form below:

LAPTOP QUESTIONNAIRE

  • Are you open to refurbs/used options?

No

Currently running an ASUS ROG Strix laptop with an RTX 3070. It is a great laptop and runs everything I need flawlessly. It just seems to be crashing a lot lately and I have not been able to successfully troubleshoot it.

  • Desired battery life

Doesn't matter.

  • Please list, in order of most important to least important, the priority between Size, Weight, Performance, Battery life

Performance is the only thing that matters to me.

Outdoor traction material

Hey all, I am brand new to the group. I have a working barn cat from the ASPCA that is currently acclimating to the barn. While he acclimates I am building jumping platforms and climbing poles so that he can get up to the lofts and the rafters in the barn. My issue is that I don't know what type of material tp use on the platforms for traction so he doesn't slip off. I have a bunch of regular (indoor) carpet. But I am worried about it becoming infested with bugs since it will be in the barn......which is chock full of bugs. I have some sisal rope that I plan to wrap around a 4x4 pole. But I don't know what to do about the flat platforms that they jump on.

Any suggestions?
