Fuelling Advice
Hello - I’ve signed up to my first ever marathon on the 14th of June. I have a training plan which I’ve followed and have really been seeing decent progress with pace and recovery after runs.
Volume is now increasing and while my body feels perfectly fine the day after a 20km+ run, once I cross that distance on the run I immediately feel drained (hungry and thirsty). I suspect I’m not fuelling enough during the runs and maybe before too? Any advice is appreciated!
I weigh 74kg, running pace about 6 min/km and average 150 HR BPM.
