Advice?

I’ve had really bad TMJ for several years now, I’ve had it ever since I had tongue cancer and had to get some of my tongue removed, and then radiation. So I think some of my TMJ is either from radiation, or maybe because my facial mechanics has changed because my tongue has to work a little differently then before.

Anyhow, so far I’ve tried more “conservative” approaches and they work for a bit, but my TMJ is still bad.

I’ve gone to a chiropractor, physical therapist, and done dry needling.

I went to an oral surgeon and he took x-rays then recommended Botox. But after reading more into Botox, I’m unsure about trying it.

My bite does constantly feel off and my dentist did say my bite needed to be fixed with Invisalign. But that costs $5,000 and it seems like a lot to pour into something with varying results, and could even possibly make it worse.

I just keep getting bad headaches, and I don’t think I can live with this pain forever, but I’m not sure what my next step should be. So any advice is welcome! TIA!
