ABS glue hits different
The team I work with and I typically don’t use ABS but occasionally we run into it. Handed a can of glue to a dude I work with who had never seen it before and was amazed by the color. He gawked over the blackness and proceeded to glue a few fittings is a tight area with little ventilation.
The running joke of getting geeked off pvc primer is true, but I would say abs glue is much more potent.
If primer is weed then abs glue is straight up crack and I’ve had both.
This dude ended up inhaling a good amount and was flyingggggg. He started saying shit like the hole for the drain was portal to another universe. Dude had to remove himself from the situation and collect his thoughts. I don’t think he ever recover fully because he did some funky shit with the drywall later on. Hopefully I don’t find him huffing my glue tomorrow morning.
