Is this a shin splint or injury?

This is my first year running track but I ran cross country in the fall and had no shin splints. However, now that I’ve started doing more sprinting, my right leg only has a really bad shin splint(?) it feels like a paint directly on the middle of my tibia, only right there in the middle though, not down the whole bone. And to clarify this is only on the right leg, if I run without a good warmup it can start hurting to the point where it’s almost difficult to walk let alone run because of the pain in my leg. If this helps I got Lyme disease at the start of the season but since I’ve been taking medicine those symptoms seem to have gone away. Has anyone else experienced this? Am I overreacting to a shin splint?

Is it bad to leave spikes in for multiple days after meets?

Usually after meets I either forget or am just too tired for a day or two to take out the spikes from my shoes. Is it bad to do this?

This is my first year doing track and my coach put me in the 400 meters and I’m wondering what an average time for a middle school modified team is? All I can find other places online are freaks of natures’ times and TikTok is mostly just lies. Can anyone help me out?
