I recently applied to the teaching pool in San Diego Unified and my application is currently under review. I know one of my references has been contacted but what happens when I’m approved?

I know I currently cannot apply to any positions within the district. I cannot even see the jobs listed currently. I’m assuming once I am approved I’ll have access to the listings?

I’m just recently got my credential so the whole hiring process is completely new to me.

I found out the garage near me will be holding open interviews so I applied online. I’m more of a causal shopper and don’t know all that much about garage. Does anyone have any advice? I do have prior retail experience so that may be an advantage. I am a bit scared that they’ll ask me about a super specific product and I won’t know what to say.

Just like the title says, I have discovered I have a rash under my breast. I am assuming it’s because of the sweat. Any suggestions on what I can use to prevent and treat the rash?

Someone from my cohort mentioned that they got two interviews in the same week they submitted their applications. I do understand the process of going through applications can be lengthy but I’m starting to get worried.

Does anyone have any advice or insight on how long it took to get an interview? It feels like summer is almost over and I haven’t gotten a single interview.

Adding additional context:
-I live in and am applying to positions in SoCal
-I received a multiple subject credential (K-6) with bilingual authorization. I have not been picky with the grades I have applied for.
-My classmate and I were in the same cohort, so we graduated with the exact same credential.
-I know summer just started but unfortunately many schools in my area are starting in July. (Which is crazy to me because the school year JUST ended this month for said schools.)
