Call it fans, followers, audience - whatever you want. It's the same thing.
If you have any knowledge or skill, start building something, and start building an audience alongside it. YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, an app, a website - get on any platform you can, show up.
Build a loyal audience. People who follow you, who trust you. That's the real asset now.
A few examples:
If you're a housewife with some free time - share what you know on YouTube. Build a channel around your kitchen, food, handmade items, whatever you're good at. Other housewives will find you and follow you, later sell your items online.
If you're doing a job - Ex. Photoshop - start on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. Follow the trends, build your graphics around them, and use that to grab clients.
If you're a software developer - you already know what to do. Find a problem, solve it with a solution online, and booom.
