New to westchester, just spent over $700 at the vet for a routine checkup that included her annual exam, two vaccines, a fecal, and routine bloodwork. Is this normal for this area? We moved from Manhattan. I had assumed the prices there would be comparable but her vet in the UWS was significantly cheaper for very good care. We could probably just drive her in to her old vet next time but would prefer a good vet that is close by that I don’t feel like im being taken advantage of.

ETA: if this had included more vaccines or her heartworm / flea and tick prevention, I could certainly understand the price. I just feel like for such a high price you’d think she had gotten more done
