Planning our honeymoon (Oct–Dec 2027) – open to suggestions!
Hey everyone! My partner and I are starting to plan our honeymoon and would love some inspiration.
The basics:
Flying from London
Travelling Oct–Dec 2027 (flexible on exact timing)
Budget: ~£10-£15k all in
Duration: 2 weeks
A bit about us: We've been lucky enough to travel a fair bit together, so we're looking for something really special. We've done the Caribbean a few times so want to give that a miss this time around.
What we're thinking: We've been looking at Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives – but we're genuinely open to other ideas too. Our main hesitation with the Maldives is that it might feel a bit quiet/samey for two weeks, though we'd consider it as part of a split-destination trip.
What we love:
Luxury hotels (non-negotiable!)
A lively evening atmosphere – we like having options for dinner, drinks, nightlife
Beautiful beaches and a great pool to laze around
