It's pretty solid dadcore but it is very funny that the dramatic conflict comes down to a debate about "what if there was pressure?" (Fraser good, if a little yelly. He does not do the Whale face.)

this movie RULES and not just because I was 27 in 2011. a real nice companion piece to I like movies, but with a bigger budget. looks great. star making performance from Barbie Ferreria. funny, lovely, authentic, a lot of heart. Absolutely worth seeing.
between this and bone temple, 2026 is 2/2 for friends of the show past and future guests making absolute bangers
