What's your favorite onomatopoeia?
So. Japanese has so many onomatopoeia. 擬音語、擬声語、擬態語。ぎおんご、ぎせいご、ぎたいご。There are even 3 different words for them haha. So there are some more common ones ふわふわ or サクサク. Are those more common? But recently my wife cut into a cabbage and said it was スカスカ. I said no it is not. I can hear 雨がザーザーとか焼き芋がホクホク、ベタベタ、ガタガタ、ツルツル、ゴシゴシ、or コツコツ but I can't hear スカスカ. What are your favorites and/or ones that you never understood?
