Biometric identity verification platform for high risk environments, guys please help me with your personal experience!

We operate in a high risk environment and our current biometric verification setup is starting to feel inadequate. Seeing more sophisticated spoofing attempts, edge cases our current vendor cannot handle and a manual review queue that keeps growing. High risk for us means financial fraud attempts are frequent, the cost of a false negative is significant and we cannot afford to trade accuracy for speed or UX. Need all 3! Specifically looking for something with proven liveness detection, deepfake and spoof resistance and ideally government grade biometric accuracy. Compliance across multiple jurisdictions is also non negotiable. Anyone running biometric verification in genuinely high risk production environments, what are you using and what made you stick with it?

built something for two years, finally felt like it was working then one company's algorithm decided otherwise

read a story recently that i haven't been able to stop thinking about

guy spends two years grinding on something. it starts working. like really working. hires his first people. gets an office. calls his parents and tells them he finally made it.

then one morning everything just stops. not because of anything he did wrong. not fraud. not a violation. just growth that happened faster than a system expected and an automated flag that nobody reviews quickly enough.

no human to talk to. no phone number. no appeal that moves in real time. just a support ticket and a bot reply while the business he built sits frozen.

by the time anything gets resolved the momentum is gone. the people he hired are asking questions he can't answer. the suppliers want payments he can't make. the customers want refunds he legally owes.

the thing that stuck with me is that he did everything right. the business worked. the product was real. people were paying. and one automated decision from one company ended it.

how much of what we build is actually ours when a single platform can flip a switch and make it inaccessible overnight?

Has sermorelin helped you with muscle growth?

I've heard a lot of mixed things about using sermorelin for muscle growth.

Some people say it helps a ton, others say it does literally nothing and to just take test instead.

Have any of you had experiences using sermorelin for muscle growth?

I'm 54 and just finished recovering from a recent injury, wanting to get back in shape.

where to buy the best THCa flower?

I've ordered THCa flower from a handful of online vendors and the quality has been all over the place. Most of it looks great in photos but arrives dry. I'm fine with ordering online. I'm just looking for something that actually smells and smokes like top shelf bud. Where can i find this?

Good, clean templates to make a process flow diagram

I’ve been trying to put together a process flow diagram for a workflow my team uses and I'm not really sure what the cleanest way to do this is.

I don't wanna spend an hour manually dragging and connecting shapes either. Is there a simple and clean approach to this?

How would you recommend I prepare for a Google interview in 3 weeks?

3 weeks might not be enough time for me to prep, should I ask to reschedule? If they refuse, what's the best way to prep?

Do you inspect appliances before signing delivery paperwork?

I was talking to a few people recently and apparently a lot of buyers sign delivery paperwork first, then notice scratches or dents after the crew leaves. Now I’m wondering what the normal process is supposed to be.

Do you guys fully inspect appliances before signing off? Like checking doors, panels, cosmetic damage, etc.?

Also curious if there are local appliance stores that are known for having better delivery coordination and communication overall. Feels like that probably makes a huge difference when issues come up.

Snowflake ETL tools when some sources are too small for expensive connectors?

One thing I’m struggling with in Snowflake is that not every source feels important enough to justify the same ingestion setup.

The core product and billing data are worth doing properly. But then there are smaller sources: a CRM object used by one team, a support export, a partner file, a few operational tables that only feed one dashboard. They still need to land in Snowflake, but paying premium connector pricing or building custom jobs for all of them feels hard to justify.
Transformations are not the issue here. Those can stay in dbt or SQL once the data is in Snowflake. The question is more about the intake layer and how to avoid having ten different “small” ingestion paths that all need slightly different care.

How are people handling Snowflake ETL tools for lower-priority sources? Do you standardize on one platform anyway, or use cheaper/lighter options for the less critical stuff?

What's the best glutathione supplement that doesn't cost loads!?

I like glutathione but its not feasible to do the IV on a regular basis, so what's the best glutathione oral supplement people recommend? (UK btw).

I also know the liposomal form is a bit of a scam doing a deep dive into that it's not actually needed as much as people think.

Is BetRepublic decent for esports or stick to the bigger names?

Never really bet on esports before but I want to start with some of the bigger tournaments, mostly CS2 Majors and maybe The International for Dota. Saw BetRepublic mentioned a few times and it seems less mainstream than the usual options which is kind of appealing.

Main things I'm curious about: how are the withdrawals? Any delays or issues people ran into? And do they cover most tier 1 events or mostly just the big ones?

Not looking to go all in, just want a decent place to follow the tournaments with some skin in the game
