Magic Drink ideas
One of the friendly NPCs in my campaign, a tavern owner, is a cleric with a channel divinity that lets him create magical alcohol. The drinks are delicious and incredibly strong and drinking them will leave you charmed, but they also have extra effects. I want to write different options for types of drinks that all do different things. The party has sampled one so far: Astral Ale, which causes you to astral project for 10 mins when you finish drinking it. It played really well. I would like to also have at least 1 shot and 1 cocktail or wine, preferably both. But I’m having trouble coming up with effects to give the drinks that are along the same vein as the astral ale. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated, I want to reveal a new one in the session after next.
