I've seen UGC Shops's account / UGC platform on X/Twitter looking for UGC creators for various briefs. When you click on their online application, the brief stipulates that it is paying creators a measly $75/video. I already was astonished by this low price, but what was even more outrageous is that on their platform they are then repacking our videos and selling to brands for $500/each. In what world do the founders of this platform think that's okay to take a $425 profit while severely underpaying their creators for the time and work put into the video? Just feels like a) they're taking advantage and b) this is what ruins the market price for the rest of us UGC creators.
