My 5yo MN German shepherd has had this "skin tag" for a few years now. The vet hasn't said anything about it, but we also haven't particularly asked. It's slowly getting larger, and I'm starting to accept that it will likely need removed eventually due to the location. He's had a previous benign epulis removed from his gum tissue, and also has typical BYB GSD problems- behavior, allergies, GI issues, +/- arthritis. The skin tag has never seemed to bother him, but he does have more issues with this side of his face.

Any ideas on what it is?

Would it better to remove and biopsy sooner rather than later?
