Wtf is up with freedom fresh?
Ever since I got into squatch I heard people say that the freedom fresh bricc smelled great, but was too faint. I finally got a chance to buy a fresh one and I absolutely agree; though the smell isn’t quite as faint as the moon bricc it’s really nice and reminds me of a lighter, fruitier grit of the genius. The tea bits even give a little grit! I was really pleased with this bar overall.
Everyone raved about the deodorant being way better and stronger than the briccs and so when I picked it up on Monday I was kinda excited.
I tried it out today and wtf is this?! It smells even fainter than the bricc and almost entirely of cedarwood, not much else. Even worse after sitting at a desk for only 2 hours I literally couldn’t smell it at all anymore. This is the worst deo from squatch hands down, and I have like 10 different ones at this point. Liberty Shield is a very similar scent profile yet it’s about 3-4x stronger; it’s immediately, noticeably better.
Did it used to be stronger? Did they fuck up the formula? Did I get a bad batch? And the biggest question of all, if the only complaint is the faint scent then why have they never made it any stronger?
