I keep seeing posts with people getting **Pissed** because they got the Namer instead of the BMPT and I understand the BMPT is good but… the Namer isn’t that bad?

Spikes are obviously inconsistent because Gaijin failed to model them properly. I get that. And I know that the Bushmaster 2 has a sometimes painfully slow rate of fire. But it’s 150 rounds per minute which is the same as the PUMA and the PUMA VJTF’s cannons. The PUMAs are already some of the best IFVs in the game and are super survivable. Obviously the Namer being on a Merkava chassis will be set on fire a lot, but other than that it is a PUMA VJTF with more armor that is a bit slower.

It doesn’t seem like a bad vehicle and it more just seems like people are complaining because they didn’t get the Noobstomper 9000 in the form of the BMPT. Hull down the Namer seems like a nightmare to kill with missiles because if you can’t get around its sides assuming the Trophy doesn’t smoke your missile the Namer will just eat it.

And that’s the other thing! It’s got TROPHY APS! There is literally no better defense in the game aside from cover. It just seems odd to complain about getting an overall solid vehicle with some minor drawbacks.

Also, on a side note, why is the Pr.1144 called a destroyer in game? The Pr.1144 Orlan (Sea Eagle), NATO reporting name Kirov, is a battlecruiser/guided missile cruiser by design and the idea was to send as many missiles as possible at enemy ships because it was laid down and designed to theoretically kill U.S. carriers. Just seems odd that they classed it as a destroyer in game and not at the very least a heavy cruiser.

The Soviets and now the Russians considered them guided missile cruisers and they are considered battlecruisers by the West. So why did Gaijin call it a destroyer?

It’s in the title. I was sort of wondering how many people like making custom camouflage for their tanks. I wanted to make winter camos and some dual purpose forest/winter camouflages and I wanted to see if anyone else made these sort of things.
