In Aliens Ripley's loader exoskeleton was Hitchcock's Shotgun. Name another Hitchcock's Shotgun.
Hitchcock's Shotgun is the element in mise en scene that must appear again at a pivotal point later in the film. In Aliens, toward the end of act 1, Cameron presents Ripley in the exoskeleton loading tool that she will later use to win a fight with the queen alien. (If this is a spoiler to you, I apologize, but gtfo from under a rock.)
