USA Air Imports Discussion Thread
Hi everybody,
I work for a large logistics company in Central Europe, mainly handling air freight exports, and I'm interested in hearing how things work on the import side in the US.
I recently saw a comment in another thread about the situation at LAX, particularly regarding pickups and storage charges, and thought it would be interesting to start a thread where people can share their experiences and discuss the differences between US and European air freight.
Which airports do you mainly work with, and what are the biggest challenges you face there?
What's the funniest, weirdest, or most interesting shipment you've ever handled?
And if there's anything else about US air imports that you want to vent about, discuss, or compare with Europe, I'm happy to hear it.
I'm also happy to answer questions about air freight exports from the European side of things.
