Loop Rejection - What now? Help

I gave the loop this week, and received an automated rejection email within 48 hours.

One of the interviewers did tell me that my skillset would suit other roles better - but in a subtle way.

The recruiter encouraged me to apply for other roles once I emailed them.

And I heard that once I fail a loop there is a cool down period or something of the sort.

Can someone please help me make sense of this. I’ve invested so much in this loop and prep, should I keep trying and apply to suitable roles? One role at a time? Give up?

Please help me! 🥲

Amazon Loop Rejection

Spent weeks preparing for an Amazon loop. 20 stories mapped to Leadership Principles. STAR format locked. Bar Raiser round - felt like one of the best interviews I've ever had. Hiring manager interview, his camera was off and that’s when

Every story landed. Every follow-up question answered with specifics.

Got the automated rejection email 48 hours later.

No feedback.

So disappointed.

But no cool off period - I can apply to roles.

What could’ve happened -
