I love this game.

What I'm about to describe probably says more about me than the game.

I find the progression up to that point in the game very satisfying but of all the build styles I have chosen I always seem to be overwhelmed with the urge to start again with something different. I'm not into playing permadeath and maybe that changes what drives me as that seems to be the game's intended mode. Is that common? How does one push through?

It's possible that is just how it is for me but I would like to finish the game at some point. My furthest progress is to the crypt.

For me I restart if I can't find fungal forest to torch near starting location. Not finding a jeweller early is a close second.

I'm not made of the stuff to just ride it out.
