Proxy vs peak v2

Hey yall I’m just wondering what the option is

I have a peak v2 with a dry top setup for travel and really like it but I’ve also seen some people argue the proxy is better (especially with core now), I was thinking about buying a proxy and or selling my peak v2 to get a proxy

So I just got this voozer 3dxl chamber for my peak v2 and a new joystick, but for some reason the tether piece or whatever it’s called won’t stay in? Any idea to what this could be? I tried taking the stick out and it was still happening without one even being in
