Formula feeding

Hi all! Quick one for formula mums! How are we making bottles? Just one at a time?
I bought the baby breeza formula pro but I’m now afraid that it doesn’t get to 70 degrees. So I’ve been using the NUBY, just boil the kettle do my ounces and then the hot shot method. However I’m doing this one by one.
The ease of the ready to drink aptmils was so good, I was wondering does anyone bulk make formula via a pitcher? Can you make a few and leave them in the fridge?
Help! FTM wanting to avoid a screaming baby at 3am!!

Mortgage broker

Hi! Not sure if the right forum but has anyone ever gotten a better rate or offered more with avant for a switcher mortgage with equity release for home improvements? Currently in the process with a broker but it’s been about 3 weeks since we got the text from avant that they have our application with no update. Not sure if it’s avant or our broker is slow to respond but when I use the calculator on avants site it seems to imply we can borrow more than what our broker has said? Not sure whether I should just apply myself online direct and see what happens or would they can screw up our existing application.

TIA

Hospital bag- split with a labour bag or one big one?

Hi! 36 weeks pregnant and have been putting off packing my hospital bag because I can’t seem to wrap my head around the logistics of it and I really don’t want to over complicate it.

I’m following the list on Niamh O Sullivan’s website. I currently have it split for a bag for me and a bag for the baby.

Would people recommend a labour bag and a post natal bag instead?

If so- what is actually crucial in the labour bag because that’s the part I’d really hate to yearn for anything during.

Also- everyone says maternity pads, disposable underwear, breast pads etc but nobody says how many!!!

How many would people recommend of the above for the labour bag specifically?

And are 2 sleep suits, 2 baby grows, 2 hats, 2 bibs, sufficient for the labour bag. Also are nappies needed for the labour bag?

Thanks so much. I am in NMH and a private patient if that’s any help

Tiny groups of flies/ fungus gnats?

Hi ! Please help! We have herds of tiny flies ( look like midges but I don’t think they bite) in our garden. I thought it was because our garden is quite mature but we have remove lots of older plants/ compost etc and really tidied it up so it’s nothing to do with dead vegetation or rubbish in general. Is there any good solution that’s suitable to use in an outside garden that won’t harm our plants?

Thanks in advance
