"No, we have KAC RAS at home"
Hi,
Just wanted to share my 1981 HK91 build I've been slowly putting together the past few months. I got this rifle earlier this year back in January for a whopping 1500$. I previously owned a PTR-91 A3SK and a CA-3, both of which had stove-piping and ejection issues. Sold those rifles to get an actual H&K and a buddy of mine hooked me up on a deal that didn't involve me paying crack-smoking boomer prices.
Always thought a modernized and suppressed G3 would be cool to own. My first choice was a KAC RAS handguard until I found out how much they costed. So I went with a FAB Defence handguard and threw some KAC panels on it. Therefore "No we have KAC RAS G3 handguard at home." I've put a couple magazines through the gun and it runs flawlessly and is an absolute joy to shoot.
Suppressor is a Otter Creek Polonium 30 K and the muzzle device is a Rearden R2S (15x1RH). Locking piece is a #17 and the optic/optic mount is from FAB Defence with a Eotech 552 (would like to add a G43 magnifier if I have the room). I do plan on buying a Spuhr Stock along with a Bill Springfield heavy buffer to install on the rifle in the next upcoming month. Other than that, it's pretty much it.
I do still have the factory wide-handguard if anyone is interested in buying it.
**Also featuring my "MK12 Mod 1 wanna-be", USP45 Match Clone, USP40 Stainless VP9, and USP9 Compact.
