Does anyone know when they will start the next course for the 3rd mate unlimited at mitags as it says TBD? additionally wondering where i should go or what i should use to study for the math exam at mitags as i have no experience with anything like that. I have been a deckhand on commercial fishing vessels for the past 4 years and have a fair amount of sea-time but not really sure which school or program will get me to the wheelhouse the fastest.
my license has been suspended in alaska since 2021 and hawaii does not operate by a points system so long story short i didn’t pay any tickets all over the country for the past 10 years while keeping my license valid through the hawaii loophole. However i am currently 4 years into a government job and ironically i hit a deer recently and the cop who responded and ran my license was smart enough to realize an alaskan suspension supersedes a valid out of state license in the state of alaska (first time this happened after literally 12 tickets in the state within the past 5 years and they never realized). now im stuck having to actually respond to this ticket only because it affects my job ( would have to transfer for a few months until the heat died down which i do frequently anyway).
