So, Tentacle Butcher fights Homelander in Episode 1 and gets completely stomped. Kimiko also gets sliced in half by Homelander’s lasers with ease in that same episode.
Then this guy fights Butcher, and even after Butcher restrains him with the tentacles, the guy just grabs them and knocks Butcher out effortlessly. After that, he throws Kimiko into a wall and knocks her out too.
(And in that same episode HL gets V1 BTW)
Now in the final episode, V1 Homelander fights Butcher again, but suddenly Butcher is somehow dominating him?
Homelander lasers Kimiko, and now it does absolutely nothing to her?
Ryan subdues Homelander even though Homelander easily overpowered him back in Episode 3?
And then Homelander gets demolished and depowered by the same three people he had already beaten earlier in the season?
(The same people who got their asses handed to them by Bombsight.)
