Certificate program advice
Just enrolled last month in a year long, fully online self-paced paralegal course through my university, to be completed while I am enrolled in my MSW (finishing my first year in the next week).
Any tips for time management, organization, completion of self-guided programs, or other additional advice? Anyone else complete a similar program and have some "I wish I did XYZ" tips?
The program recommends the creation of a personal paralegal portfolio and provides document drafting exercises and activities to complete and add to the portfolio (I have a physical and digital copy of all downloads from the program so far).
The program provides me with a 3-month long access to Westlaw as well as a fee waiver for the CP exam.
I want to ensure I am getting the most out of my program by downloading all resources and taking my time to truly understand the concepts, but have never enrolled in a completely self-paced online course with this much heft to it. Looking for advice.
