I built Vantid because my portfolio spreadsheet finally broke me.

I had separate tabs for tax planning, geographic breakdown, retirement tracking, and currency conversion across US and Indian markets. Every month I'd spend hours updating prices, fixing broken XIRR formulas, and copy-pasting data into ChatGPT to try to get insights. The spreadsheet was doing five jobs badly.

So I built the tool I actually wanted. Vantid is a native macOS desktop app that tracks your entire portfolio — stocks, ETFs, crypto, real estate, vehicles, precious metals, debts — with live prices, true XIRR returns, and historical tracking. All your data stays on your machine.
