help regarding choosing better college
Folks, I have secured admission in IIIT Hyderabad CSE and also IIT Hyderabad NIS (self-sponsored). I’m currently confused about which one to choose.
One thing making me lean towards IIIT Hyderabad is that I already know a senior there who is close to me and can guide me. In IIT Hyderabad, I don’t really know anyone.
I also feel IIIT Hyderabad suits my lifestyle a bit more since it is located in the middle of the city, and I like going around the city a little every day. IIT Hyderabad being outside the city makes that less feasible.
Another concern I have is regarding projects under faculty guidance in the 2nd year. I feel a bit insecure about my current skill level and I’m worried whether I’ll be able to handle working under a guide for an entire year.
Financially too, IIIT Hyderabad provides a stipend, whereas IIT Hyderabad does not.
Would really appreciate honest suggestions from people who know about both institutes.
