Hey everyone, does anyone know any NGO or anyone around the Geetanagar side of Guwahati who might need some food items?

A family member of ours passed away earlier this month, and during that time relatives and friends had sent a lot of groceries for us. We still have quite a bit left..things like rice, whole moong, oats packets, etc.

Honestly, it’s more than we’ll realistically be able to consume, and I’m worried they’ll just sit around and eventually get damaged. Would rather give them to someone who can actually use them.

So if you know any family, students, NGO, shelter, or anyone in need nearby, please let me know. Thanks a lot.

Hi everyone, need a bit of help here.

My father-in-law passed away on 22nd April due to a stroke at home in Guwahati. We completed his last rites at Navagraha, and today is the 14th day, so all the rituals are done.

Now we need to apply for his death certificate so that my mother-in-law can start her pension process. I honestly have no idea where to begin..like where to apply, what documents are needed, or how long it usually takes.

If anyone from Guwahati (or Assam in general) has gone through this, could you please guide me a bit?

Would really appreciate any help.
