Civil Engineering to Surveying
I graduated college with a civil engineering degree about a year ago, passed the FE and have been working as a civil engineer since. I am looking at getting into surveying because I enjoy being outside and surveying has always interested me.
I am currently in Pennsylvania and I see that to sit for the FS exam I would need 10 credits of surveying related coursework. Would taking online courses and getting a certificate from a place like UMaine while I work full time for a surveyor be the best choice to eventually get licensed?
