So me and my wife are moving to Augusta at the end of the week and I've been struggling to find us furnished short term rental for us to stay in until we close on a home we only need it for 1-2 months, so if anybody had any suggestions that'd be great.
Hello, everyone! I’m a 22-year-old Army veteran moving to Augusta in early October. I served as a 25S Satellite Communication Systems Operator-Maintainer and am looking for a stable, meaningful career opportunity in the area.
I’m motivated, goal-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn. I’m especially interested in sales or other performance-based positions with opportunities for advancement, bonuses, and increasing pay. However, I’m also comfortable working with my hands, learning a trade, or working outdoors.
Ideally, I’d like a Monday–Friday position because my wife is still serving in the military and I want to have time with her. That said, I’m willing to work some weekends—especially if the position offers valuable experience and a path toward a strong long-term career and schedule.
I’m hoping to avoid temporary work or positions with little opportunity for advancement. If anyone knows of businesses that may be hiring around October, or has recommendations for companies and career fields to explore in the Augusta area, please comment or send me a message. I appreciate any advice or leads!
