In this camera trap footage you can see a huge male with a massive thick neck. Yes he has a dewlap (loose skin) underneath but still it's very muscular. And in the end you see his mating partner!

According to a park ranger, the leopard attacked it on land in which it ran into the water and died. The leopard was still around the camp nearby. If you look closely you can see some claw marks on it's back. This happened in Loango National Park in Gabon.
It is well known that male cats are bigger than the females. Some species have unique traits that differentiates them - lions having manes, tigers having ruffs and leopards having dewlaps.
However, in the leopard's case the results can be shocking to the point you're looking at a different species (early explorers in Central Africa actually thought this was the case!).
Tijdens het opruimen van een oude kamer mijn allereerste kaart teruggevonden (de Gyarados).
De Magneton lag er vlak onder. Beide uiteraard zonder sleeve of iets dergelijks.
De Gyarados laat ik graden zodat hij beschermd meekan in mijn verdere toekomst. Waarde is misschien nul, maar hij betekent oh zo veel.
A very robust male with a different build than the savannah type we usually get to see (forest dwelling type with a compact body and wide skull - similar to a jaguar).
