Anyone Preparing for RAS 2026? Looking to Connect

Hey everyone,

I’m preparing for RAS 2026 and wanted to connect with others who are on the same journey. Would be great to discuss preparation strategy, resources, current affairs, optional subjects, mock tests, and maintain consistency together.

I’m especially looking for serious aspirants who are preparing full-time or planning a disciplined approach for the exam. Maybe we can even make a small study/accountability group.

If anyone here is preparing for RAS 2026, feel free to comment or DM.

Thanks!

Need genuine advice from people who’ve been through UPSC prelims.

This is going to be my 3rd prelims attempt. The problem is — I’m not fully prepared this time. My preparation has been inconsistent due to distractions, work, and honestly losing focus at times.

Now I’m confused whether I should still attempt the exam seriously or skip and prepare properly for next year.

Part of me feels attempting will at least give exam temperament and experience. Another part feels I may waste an attempt and hurt my confidence further.

For those who faced something similar: Did you attempt despite poor preparation? Was it worth it or did you regret it later?

Would really appreciate honest opinions.
