Effexor side effects are dangerous: retinopathy, anhedonia, sexual dysfunction ( incl impotence,) hair loss ( may not return), digestive issues, weight gain, lethargy, less impulse control.... please be careful.
Anyone who tells you that the standard treatment for these drugs is to start at the highest possible dose and stick with it for a long time before decreasing IS A LIAR.
This is what a therapist/ APRN from newington and more recently in west hartford told me in 2012 and again in 2020-21 or so when i wanted to start something at a lower dose than she recommended. Also her effing amphetamines. I learned recently that what she claimed was particular "wisdom" ( eg bullshit) had /has been out of favor for around 20 years.
These reprobates will do ANYTHING to keep us drugged up and unable to enjoy life-- which is why i refer to them as THE WORST KIND OF SADISTS.
Be very careful. I ended up with years of dysfunction excessive weight gain retina damage AND hair loss, diabetes plus other issues. And then there is the ongoing bias i face because of having taken her drugs snd being perceived forever as LESS THAN so there is little i can do to protect myself.
Be careful and never go someplace that calls themselves "mind matters" when it clearly doesnt matter to them.
The c*** truly should be in jail. She even stole books i LOANED her. Amd kept books she should not have. My books by john taylor gatto were stolen twice because of HER.And she also kept a letter sent to me by Bishop Carter Heyward who courageously published the classic " When Boundaries Betray Us" which is helpful reading along with Jeffrey mousaid masson's " Against Therapy " another classic which is a great support to people who want to remive themselves from the ravenous dependency fostering death inducing talons of therapy and psychiatric miscreant creeps.
